An Engagement: Ryan + Chalee

I met these two the day of their snowy session. Even though I politely asked them to freeze for a couple of hours they were all smiles. I've learned that sometimes in Colorado you can have snow and not frigid temps...this day was not one of them. My camera was slowing down, my fingers were locking up but my little cold heart was happy working with these two. **winkwink** For real though, it was well below the freezing point and a tad windy. Luckily we started the day warming from the inside out at the cutest spot in Silver Plume. If you're ever in the area and have some time to kill -- you know, to drink booze, sober up and then drive home (or stay here overnight and drink all you want and have a coffee and burrito in the morning!) -- you've got to stop by Bread Bar. Ok sorry, promise this isn't a travel post for Silver Plume...but when the cuteness factor is high I gotta share. 

So, Ryan and Chalee. For starters, they met at a Taco Festival in Denver so, if you ask me, their love is built on very solid ground. They just purchased their first home in Denver (just a little spot built well over 100 years ago)! And they are getting married in San Fransisco in May! 2018 is going to be a standout year for these two. Plus their orange tabby that didn't make the trip with us. Hopefully I get to meet that guy and see his new digs soon. We hung out in Silver Plume just before making a quick stop in one of our favorite little mountain towns, Georgetown. Everything was so quite and snowy that weekend. Well, after we got out of Denver and the slushy, gross roads. So, here's a little snippet of our chilly day in these quaint, mountain towns!
